Thank you for the support you have given to the Scunthorpe Musical Festival. We are grateful to all members for their interest in and commitment to our work with young performers and hope that once again you will renew your membership. The cost will be £15 per adult member and £8 per junior member under 14 years.
Please note that the completed application form and cheque must be received by the Secretary at the address given on the form by 1st JANUARY 2017.
This gives you free admission to all sessions at all sections, one seat per member’s card, except for
the booked sessions at the Dance Festival
the Saturday night concert at the Drama Festival
Please note : Junior Members are not entitled to priority booking for any sessions.
You also have the opportunity to vote at the A.G.M. This year it will be held in Frodingham Parish Hall, Church Lane, Scunthorpe on Tuesday, 27th October, 2015 at 7.30pm.
The booked sessions for the Dance Festival may be made by members at the Plowright Theatre Box Office about a week before the tickets are on sale to the general public. All booked seats must be occupied at the commencement of each booked session, otherwise the seat may be resold. Members are advised to book their seats because these booked sessions are usually sold out. Please note that seats booked by phone or on-line are subject to a theatre booking fee.
The following are next year’s festival dates:
Speech & Drama : 6th – 12th March 2017
Dance : 27th/28th March – 1st April 2016
Music : 23rd – 28th May 2016
We also hold a fantastic residential drama summer school at Bishop Grosseteste College, Lincoln in August, open to performers aged 10 – 17 years and details may be obtained at any of our festivals.
